As the distorted version of Ben Bailey’s comments regarding homosexuality and the Bible went viral via rawstory and multiple pro-gay websites, at least one blogger is promoting a more balanced view. Ben has received a lot of support from the church, of course, but it is nice to see someone outside of the story take a fairer view than the attackers from the left. While Ben is not a “pastor,” this blogger does a much better job than previous mentions of the video.

We have received word that Mack Lyon has passed away. Brother Lyon labored for many years for the gospel, including more than two decades hosting “In Search of the Lord’s Way.” Chris Lyon, his son, said his father had worked all his life for this day. In a 53-46 vote this afternoon, the United States Senate refused to defund Planned Parenthood. This allows the organization to continue performing abortions, despite the ongoing scandal over the harvest and sale of human body parts.
